On October 7 I went to Lower Burrell to attend the infant baptism of my first great-grandson, Liam Owen. I wanted to describe the feeling I had when holding him but I’m at a loss for words. If you’ve had this experience you’ll know what I mean. If you haven’t, you’ll have to wait till you get there in life.
The baptism service was very meaningful and also emotional. What a beautiful baby he is! Everyone in the congregation was excited about Liam’s birth and many of them wanted to hold him. In this picture, Liam is four weeks old.
He’s now at that stage where just about every day Kayla and Lyn will see changes in him. He will be growing bigger and learning by leaps and bounds. Oh, what a happy time this is.
Some day he’ll get to come visit me and after a while, he’ll toddle around investigating all the things that are within his reach.
Some day, he’ll reach out and hold my hand. What a beautiful thought.
