Model A Ford

At the Corry Historical Society Museum

When I read in our local newspaper that the Erie Model A Club would be driving to Corry Historical Museum on May 5, 13, I wanted to go see the cars. The one in this photo is one of my favorites. While there, we took a little tour of the museum, and got to hear some of the behind the scenes info. We also got to talk to some members of the club who were visiting. I really enjoyed seeing these very old cars, but I’m glad that the car I have is more up to date.

About NJ

I love to write! I realized in 9th grade that I really enjoyed writing. Every two weeks we had assigned topics that we were to use to write an essay. I liked writing the essays. I'm a mom and a grandma. None of my family live nearby, but they visit when they are able to come. I've been a pastor's wife and a grade school teacher. Now I'm retired and enjoying visiting others, and indulging myself in my hobbies, --writing and art activities. I'm very thankful for the blessings in life.

I love the old cars. And, I remember my mom talking about when she was growing up and having to be the one who rode in the rumble seat. 🙂

I remember having a ride in a rumble seat, and as I remember it, I loved it. I was very excited to have the opportunity to ride there. Of course, it was a summer day, and good weather. That would help a lot!
