Rob's house and Clymer Park 077

My Mother’s Day fuchsia is now hanging on a shepherd’s crook in front of the porch.  I’ve always hung my Mother’s Day fuchsia in one of the arches on the porch, but this year I had to have my porch power washed, stained and sealed.  All my plants had to come off the porch till the porch was finished.  The power washing was done, and then the rains came.  It rained for over a week.  And to my surprise, the fuchsia, hanging outside the porch, was doing even better than those in other years which hung from the porch arches.

Finally the rain stopped and we had a dry day.  The staining and sealing was done.  But the very next day, the rains came again.  It was rainy for well over a week again.  The fuchsia thrived in its new home in front of the porch.

I’ve been able to get the porch set up again, with other plants, but the fuchsia is still thriving on the shepherd’s crook, in the yard, in front of the porch.  It likes its new home, and I enjoy seeing it there.

About NJ

I love to write! I realized in 9th grade that I really enjoyed writing. Every two weeks we had assigned topics that we were to use to write an essay. I liked writing the essays. I'm a mom and a grandma. None of my family live nearby, but they visit when they are able to come. I've been a pastor's wife and a grade school teacher. Now I'm retired and enjoying visiting others, and indulging myself in my hobbies, --writing and art activities. I'm very thankful for the blessings in life.
