It’s a beautiful day.  This morning the sun is shining brightly and that is what most of us want, –bright sunny days!  Sunny days lift the spirits and cheer us.  Bright sunny days are very good, —except when we are driving and the sun is in our eyes.

This morning I went to buy groceries, taking advantage of the early morning hour when there wouldn’t be many people in the store.  That was a good plan.  The only problem is that I was driving east to get to the store and the sun was shining brightly, –in my eyes.

A really good thing is that when I drove west to head home, the sun was behind me.  I was glad to get home home again where I could enjoy the sunshine and not have the concern of driving with the sun in my eyes.  And, I have the groceries I need for the next couple of days.  It’s a beautiful day!

About NJ

I love to write! I realized in 9th grade that I really enjoyed writing. Every two weeks we had assigned topics that we were to use to write an essay. I liked writing the essays. I'm a mom and a grandma. None of my family live nearby, but they visit when they are able to come. I've been a pastor's wife and a grade school teacher. Now I'm retired and enjoying visiting others, and indulging myself in my hobbies, --writing and art activities. I'm very thankful for the blessings in life.

I had the same experience yesterday, driving into the sun. It’s rather difficult!

We’re having some nice sun here also; I guess ’cause we live in the Sunshine State. LOL

Take care, Nancy. I hope you’ll have blessed Christmas with your family.
