Up or Down
My friend and I have a difference of opinion. When I put my glasses and cups in the cupboard, I turn them upside down. He puts his glasses and cups into the cupboard right side up.

“Why do you do that?” he asked me.
My answer, “So spiders don’t crawl into them.” I said this sheepishly because I know that most people don’t understand my love/hate relationship with spiders. I wouldn’t want a spider to get into my glass and not be able to get out again.
Of course, I asked him why he keeps his cups and glasses right side up. “To keep the cup rim off the shelf,” he answered confidently. “The shelf might get dusty.”
We each have our own ways to protect our dishes!
